The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI's overall total rewards package. Position Summary :
The Data Governance Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date master data within the SAP system currently and any other ERP. This role will also be responsible for data analysis, reporting, Power BI functions, as well as working with Snowflake data warehouse and other ERPs. Primary focus involves ensuring data integrity, compliance with company policies and procedures, and supporting various business functions that rely on accurate master data. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect business rules, streamline processes, resolve data-related issues, and implement best practices for master data management.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain Master data in SAP ERP system, including accurate and timely entry of relevant information.
- Perform data entry, updates, and cleansing activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of master data records.
- Review and validate master data changes, ensuring compliance with company policies and data governance standards.
- Analyze data quality issues and implement corrective measures to address root causes and prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data by conducting regular audits of master data to identify discrepancies, duplicates, and inconsistencies, and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Support business users in resolving master data-related issues and provide training as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation for master data processes, procedures, and standards.
- Develop Data Dictionary & Business Glossary
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data trends, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Create and optimize SQL queries in Snowflake to extract, transform, and load data.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and data cleansing.
- Work closely with senior analysts and data engineering peers to support data-driven decision-making
