- Job leads a team, has no authority to hire and performance-manage the team.
- Job leads/supervises/manages 6-8 employees
- Job leads the work of departmental employees by assigning tasks, verifying completion of tasks, rotating assignments, and enforcing company safety and work rules. Investigate and report incidents and non-compliance with safety or work rules to Supervisor as directed. Ensures that all work areas are clean.
- Job/leads/supervises work with employees to follow detailed instructions, complete repetitive tasks, and work independently of others and as a team. Responsible for inspection and removal of foreign materials and inferior ingredients in products, as well as scaling and weighing products to ensure work orders are being accurately produced.
- This position is essential in providing quality products by following company procedures, maintaining a safe environment, and being an example to other employees through performance and attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand a variety of documents related to the shipping and receiving of goods and materials.
- Ability to accurately enter information into a variety of software applications using a keyboard and personal computer.
- Basic understanding of mechanical operations.
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience is required.
- Work can be performed within a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people, and conveyor (may depend on the role).
- Work conditions are typical of a plant environment.
- This role does not require any domestic travel.
- Position requires the physical agility to perform continuous lifting up too 50 pounds, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
- Position requires the physical ability to stand/walk for the duration of work hours.
