Job Summary
This role is responsible for transporting raw materials and finished products between production areas, storage, and docks using a riding pallet jack or forklift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transfer raw materials from storage to production using a riding pallet jack or forklift.
- Transfer finished products from the production line to the next stage of processing.
- Offload delivered raw materials and other supplies to storage area; organize according to facility specifications.
- Stack and organize pallets and maintain a clean working area.
- Remove empty combos and garbage pallets from department.
- Maintain compliance with facility and organizational policies governing workplace conduct, workplace safety, food safety, good manufacturing practices, and any other operational policies as established.
Requirements:
- 0-1 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions with accuracy.
Work Environment:
- The role can be performed within a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people, and conveyor.
- The work conditions are typical of an office and plant environment.
- The role does not require any domestic travel.
- The position may require physical agility, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
