The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI’s overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.
Position Summary:
The EDI Analyst identifies, coordinates and resolves transmission and rejections errors for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) billed customers, vendors, and Third-Party Logistics providers. The primary responsibility of the role will be to analyze EDI traffic and identify root cause of transmission failures and transaction rejections, and work with various internal departments, third parties, and customers to resolve errors. The EDI Analyst serves as the primary link between the business (i.e., cross functional areas not limited to Sales, Customer Service, Inventory Control and Procurement) and all data-trading partners. Ability to quickly identify errors and coordinate resolution in a timely manner.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze, identify, coordinate, and resolve EDI transmissions and rejections issues and errors. Provide support for all customer EDI-related issues and errors, including auditing and resolving issues on various third-party portals. Evaluates customer contractual requirements to propose and implement process improvements and process measurements.
- Work with business partners and PMO to prioritize the onboarding of new trading partners
- Actively monitor EDI transaction flow through post implementations, identify challenges and work with the appropriate internal, third party and/or customer IT and E-Commerce departments to correct issues timely and accurately.
- Performs special projects to identify root cause, policies, or procedures, along with recommendations to enhance and/or improve. Work with process owners, management and customers to develop solutions and correct inefficiencies.
Experience & Skills:
· 1-3 years of experience in related field is preferred.
· Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- Experience wit SAP preferred
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply that learning to core business application support.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Education
· BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.
Work Environment:
· Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.
· Work conditions are typical of an office environment.
· This role does not require any domestic travel
· Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds
· Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
· Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
