About The Role
Reporting to the Director Loss Prevention, the Reconciliation Specialist, is responsible for ensuring financial records matchup between different sources. This involves identifying discrepancies, investigating the causes of the discrepancies, and reconciling the accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.

What You’re Responsible For
- Review POS sales data and carrier commission statements to identify missing payments and take corrective action
- Identify carrier contacts and work to establish strong working relationships with these individual partners
- Work with carrier partners to resolve payment disputes on a monthly basis. Follow-up to ensure disputes are resolved and payment is submitted
- Identify the appropriate dispute process for each of our carrier partners
- Have a clear understanding of our carrier agreements and payment structure to determine how we are compensated
- Monitor and escalate reconciliation issues
- Review and investigate high volume of transactions, identifying causes of discrepancies and working with respective partners on how to rectify
- Create & update process and policy documents as needed
- Maintain confidentiality when it comes to OSL, Client and Carrier records
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2 years experience in a reconciliation-focused role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient with relevant software tools and technologies
- Understanding of relevant regulations and policies
- A competitive base salary $80-100K plus bonus

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
