Lead, Operations

Production Line Lead oversees operations and workers in their departments during scheduled shifts. Production Line Lead responsibilities include but are not limited to resolving conflicts among the team, setting up machinery to run, using a computer to clock in and keep track of pieces produced, and checking equipment. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your department or line run smoothly and effectively as possible during your shift.

• 
  Monitors quality in coordination with the Quality Department.
• Monitors Safety, PPE usage, OSHA violation occurrence, Lock Out Tag Out adherence, and general production safety in coordination with the Safety Department.
• Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Monitors company safety under the direction of the Safety Department.
• Participates in press inspections along with Inspecting equipment and communicating the need for repairs or replacements to management and maintenance.
• Conducts Brinell tests.
• Internal reporting requirements are met and executed promptly.
• Provide support to the Shift Supervisor to keep employees informed on those matters that affect the successful performance of their jobs as it relates to quality.
• Provide support to the Shift Supervisor in preparing an analysis of Quality and Safety related functions
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Ensures that all activity related to role is accomplished ethically.
• Supports the use of the functional organization and enforces its use.
• Maintains in good order all records and files assigned to this function and ensures the safekeeping and confidentiality of all company records including computer information.
• Maintains the working area in a neat, orderly, and haphazard-free condition.
• Performs other duties or tasks as may be assigned.
• Requires High School Diploma.
• Understand basic English as necessary to react to the demands of a factory floor.
• Ability to lift to 60 pounds.
