Responsibilities:
While specific duties vary based on the role, every position at camp shares a common purpose: supporting and inspiring campers to have their best summer yet. Some potential roles include:
- General Counselor: Be the heart of the camp experience, guiding campers through daily activities and building strong relationships.
- Activity Specialist: Teach specific skills in areas like sports, arts, waterfront, adventure, or performing arts.
- Lifeguard: Ensure safety and fun at the pool or waterfront, maintaining a secure environment for all.
- Outdoor Educator: Lead hikes, teach survival skills, and connect campers to the natural world.
- Support Staff: Help behind the scenes in roles like food service, maintenance, or office support, ensuring camp runs smoothly.
- Leadership Roles: Oversee a team of counselors or specialists, providing mentorship and guidance.
