Job Description:
Ossanna is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Sourcing Manager, Digital Technologies to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on sourcing and procurement for digital technologies within the supply chain and R&D sectors. The successful candidate will be working across global markets to manage vendor relationships and ensure the successful procurement of innovative technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement initiatives for digital technologies in supply chain and R&D.
- Source and manage large-scale vendors in technology procurement, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Manage relationships with key vendors such as Blue Yonder, Siemens, Accenture, Tata, Automation Anywhere, and others.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support global requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness and high performance.
- Use analytical tools such as Excel to conduct procurement analysis and present data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, from factory floor operations to C-level executives, to ensure successful technology integration and procurement.
- Effectively communicate and influence stakeholders, both internally and externally, to align with strategic business goals.
- Handle ambiguity and navigate greenfield technology environments, maintaining a flexible and solution-oriented approach.
- Promote a team-focused and inclusive environment, ensuring trust and a high standard of professionalism in all interactions.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum experience in technology procurement, particularly with large-scale vendors. Experience in supply chain and R&D procurement is a bonus.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel for procurement analysis, as well as storytelling and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from the factory floor to C-level executives.
- Experience with Tools: Familiarity with procurement and technology tools such as Ariba, Sievo, Hicx, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Global Exposure: Experience working with global requirements and international vendors.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across different cultural backgrounds.
- Personal Attributes: Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, with a focus on results. A team player who promotes collaboration, trust, and inclusivity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Professional qualification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS).
- Experience: Experience with global technology procurement, predictive maintenance technology procurement, and factory IT procurement.
