Summer Child Care Instructor

Osseo Area Schools is seeking Summer Child Care Instructors for our K-5 summer program! Join our team and grow your career in a school district that values innovation, inclusion, and belonging. As a Child Care Instructor, you will collaborate with Program Managers to implement the curriculum and provide supervision to children in our program.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging programming to meet children's needs
• Foster relationships with parents/guardians, students, and school staff
• Lead group activities and maintain a safe, clean environment
• Keep program records such as attendance and schedules
  
  

Pay & Schedule:

• Competitive pay: $22.20/hour
• Monday to Friday shifts, no weekends
• Up to 8 hours per day between 6:30am - 6:00pm
• Summer programming: June 10 - August 15 with potential school year opportunities
• Locations: Rice Lake Elementary, Rush Creek Elementary, and Woodland Elementary

Qualifications:

• 12 credits in child development/education, 1 year of related work experience with elementary-aged students
• Experience planning and implementing educational activities for children
