Military Analyst SME (Technical Writer)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Military Analyst & Technical Writing Specialist to provide expertise in military operations, training, logistics, and acquisition while developing high-quality technical documentation. This role supports Joint planning, force deployment, training development, and operational program evaluation to enhance mission readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on military doctrine, tactics, logistics, and force deployment.
- Assist with Training Aids, Devices, Simulations, and Simulators (TADSS) and operational testing.
- Evaluate training and acquisition programs, ensuring cost-effective enhancements.
- Support VIP visits, operational briefings, and strategic military planning.
- Develop and maintain technical reports, policies, SOPs, and after-action reports.
- Ensure compliance with Joint planning processes, military training standards, and operational requirements.
- Monitor PEO STRI SCI SMO Code in DISS and manage Visit Access Requests (VARs).
- Assist with SCI self-assessments, security documentation, and compliance tracking.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Extensive experience in military operations, logistics, and training
- Strong technical writing skills (reports, policies, training documentation)
- Knowledge of Joint planning, military command operations, and acquisition processes
Preferred:
- Aviation experience
- Familiarity with TADSS, operational testing, and military training systems
