What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Legal Assistant position at Osterhout Berger Daley?
We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented administrative assistant/legal assistant for our growing office. The candidate should have a minimum of two years experience in a law firm. Experience with Social Security law is helpful but not required.
Tasks/duties to include, but are not limited to:
· Bookkeeping
· Monthly client billing and receipt of payments
· Monthly billing to and from vendors
· Client phone contact
· Drafting & processing correspondence (letters and emails)
· Direct contact with SSA for benefits processing and fee follow up
· Office machine management
· Supplies management.
General office skills required:
· Microsoft office: Outlook, Excel, Word & Sharepoint
· Excellence in adhering to deadlines
· Excellence in organizational abilities and attention to detail
· The ability to correspond with vendors, clients, etc.
· Ability to follow systems and work independently
