Job Overview

Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Support individuals in developing life skills and achieving personal goals through tailored programs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by following proper hygiene and safety protocols.
- Document client progress and communicate effectively with team members regarding any changes in behavior or health status.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in caregiving and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA guidelines, while providing care.
Qualifications
- Experience in home health care, assisted living, or group home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ADLs and caregiving techniques is essential.
- A background in behavior or related healthcare fields is a plus.
