PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position provides support to the Prospect Development team with a focus on prospect research, including, but not limited to, prospect research, CRM data entry, news alert monitoring, and other various Prospect Development tasks and projects.
KEY AREAS OF FOCUS:
Job Responsibilities and Expectations-
- Monitor news alerts and share timely insights with members of the Prospect Research team for referrals or updates to OSUF partners.
- Capture any identified prospect research from news alerts and other sources and update CRM with information identified.
- Perform data entry in CRM to ensure all research profiles generated by PR team are added to CRM and records are updated accordingly.
- Audit research on top prospects on a recurring basis and provide recommendations for updates to PR team.
- Collaborate with PR team to document relationship networks for top prospects in CRM.
- Support drafting and updating executive summaries on top prospects in CRM.
- Perform basic research on prospects as needed (contact info, career info, etc.).
- Assist in developing processes and documentation for the responsibilities and tasks of the PR student intern.
- Provide support to the Prospect Development team on additional projects and tasks as needed.
JOB COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:
- Current full-time enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of the job

Excellent oral and written communication skills – will be expected to communicate effectively with the Prospect Development team and, at times, other members of the OSUF team.

Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time well are essential.

Proficient computer skills: will be performing data entry, report building, and use a wide array of software including the Microsoft Office Suite and other prospect research specific tools.

Must be willing to take the initiative, show willingness to learn, and ask questions.

Minimum of 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday (and continuing through the fall/spring)
