Job Title: Patient Care Associate/SNA Department: Additional Information: Position Summary The PCA/SNA is responsible for providing a variety of direct and indirect patient care activities as supervised and directed by the Registered Nurse. Care is provided in collaboration with the patient, family, and other members of the patient focused care team. Overall responsibilities are to assist the team in meeting patient care needs. Minimum Education Required Currently enrolled college/university nursing student Required Qualifications Nursing student enrolled in a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program; Completion of a nursing health assessment course or nursing clinical; Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills; Successful completion of a one-day PCA/SNA training course required after hire. Location: Medical Center Tower (0870) Position Type: Intermittent Scheduled Hours: 8 Shift: Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
