What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Monitors position at Oswego City School District?
The employee in this position monitors halls in our secondary schools and other designated areas to ensure order and proper conduct of students.
Typical duties include, but not limited to:
Inspects passes to insure students are abiding by the school's rules & regulations;
Checks bathrooms for loitering and/or smoking;
Keeps order in cafeteria/lunch room;
Position requires: good general intelligence, ability to establish good relationships with students, teachers & staff; ability to maintain discipline; neat appearance.
Hours: 3:15 pm-9:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Graduation from high school or a NYS equivalency diploma required.
Applicants will be required to have fingerprint clearance via the NYS Education system at a cost of $102.50
