- Early Childhood Staff Attendance: 3.5 hours (8:45 A.M.-12:15 P.M.)
- Elementary Student Attendance: 8:00 A.M. - 12:45 P.M.
- Elementary Staff Attendance: 5.25 hours (7:45 A.M.-1:00 P.M.)
- Secondary Student Attendance: 8:00 A.M. - 12:45 P.M.
- Secondary Staff Attendance: 5.25 hours (7:45 A.M.-1:00 P.M.)
- Pathways Student Attendance: 9:00 A.M. - 1:45 P.M.
- Pathways Staff Attendance: 5.25 hours (8:45 A.M.-2:00 P.M.)
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst required
- Recent experience providing services as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in a public self-contained program or private therapeutic school for students with emotional and/or behavior disorders.
- Knowledge and experience implementing evidence-based methods for supporting students with emotional disabilities.
- Ability to write high-quality legally defensible Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Excellent oral communication, written communication, and time management skills are required.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, team members, and other district staff required.
- Supports general education and /or special education program teachers and team members with the implementation of classroom management strategies, positive and proactive communication, and functional, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional intervention strategies and supports.
- Provides training, collaborative consultation, coaching supports, and technical assistance to staff and administrators for individual students and groups of students in the District's general education and/or special education programs.
- Supports the team in data collection, Functional Behavior Assessments, and supports team completion of Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Provide collaborative consultation, modeling, coaching, and technical assistance to staff for individual and whole-class behavior, learning strategies, and interventions.
- Collaborate with district support team members to conduct research on innovative best practice strategies and methods, and develop training materials, resources, and presentations/workshops on assigned topics.
- Complete all assigned records, reports, and projects in an efficient and timely manner.
- Attends team problem solving, IEP, and evaluation meetings as requested or as assigned.
- Report out on evaluation findings and collaborate with staff to develop and implement student IEP's as needed.
- Provide staff with training and tools regarding methods for gathering baseline data and modeling and evaluating student progress.
- Consult with parents, teachers, and other staff regarding student performance in the school setting.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities.
- Support and implement District policies, procedures, regulations, and administrative directives.
- Adhere to the ethical standards, codes of the profession, and established rules, regulations, and laws governing special education.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
As a member of the District's support team, and in collaboration with other team members, administrators, and school staff, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supports the educational needs of students with disabilities and students who are at-risk. This is accomplished by conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, working with teams to develop Behavior Intervention Plans and through collaborative consultation, training, coaching, and the provision of technical assistance to administrators, teachers, and others.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
COMPENSATION: $50/hr per SpEd Dept
