Job Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for outbound sales efforts aimed at acquiring new partnerships and expanding market presence. This role focuses on identifying and targeting specific brands as requested by leadership, nurturing potential opportunities, and driving revenue by hitting individual sales goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive, goal-oriented professional who excels in building and maintaining relationships with prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute outbound sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, referrals, networking events, and industry conferences.Consistently reach out to prospects via cold calls, emails, and social media to establish new business opportunities.Targeting Requested BrandsCollaborate with senior leadership to understand targeted brand profiles and specific campaign objectives.
Research and analyze the market landscape of requested brands, understanding their needs, challenges, and business models.Tailor outreach efforts to meet the unique requirements of each targeted brand, positioning the companys offerings effectively.Relationship Building & NegotiationsCultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
Present compelling proposals and negotiate contract terms that create win-win solutions for both the client and the company.Manage all stages of the sales cycle, from initial contact and pitch to contract closure and onboarding.Achieving Individual Sales GoalsMeet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas as determined by leadership.
Maintain an updated pipeline of prospects, accurately forecasting future sales using CRM tools.Continuously track personal performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement to optimize results.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Operations) to ensure proposed solutions align with the companys capabilities and client needs.
Communicate client feedback and market insights to relevant stakeholders, contributing to product or service enhancements.Coordinate with Finance and Legal departments to finalize contracts and manage billing processes efficiently.Reporting & AnalysisUtilize CRM software to track and update leads, opportunities, and closed deals.
Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior leadership, detailing progress, challenges, and key wins.Analyze trends and data to refine sales tactics, forecast growth, and support strategic planning.Perform additional related duties as assignedQualifications
Education : Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).Experience :2 years in outbound sales, business development, or a related role.
Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas in a high-volume environment.Skills :Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales prospecting tools.Ability to analyze market data and apply insights to outreach strategies.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Physical Demands
