The Role :

As a Drayage Operations Representative you will communicate shipment updates proactively and accurately ensuring a customer-centric approach. Analyze customer inquiries and provide quality and timely insights and updates to your customers. Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Work seamless across all departments of the company including but not limited to : Account Management, Accounting, Track and Trace, and Business Development.

What You’ll do :

Build and develop relationships with existing customers to ensure continued partnership.
Analyze customer inquiries and provide quality and timely insights and updates to your customers.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Respond to customers with a sense of urgency to provide an excellent customer experience.
Leverage OTR’s technology platform, to generate reports, analyze load data and exceed customer expectations.
Communicate shipment updates proactively and accurately ensuring a customer centric approach.
Network internally with Account Management, Operations, and Capacity teams.
Display attention to detail, accuracy, and problem solving.
Exhibit demonstrated negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills.

Experience / Qualifications

One year experience in drayage operations or a related logistics field, with a solid understanding of drayage processes and requirements.

A bachelor's degree is highly preferred.

An interest in proving industry leading customer service

Ability to Thrive under deadlines, drive results, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency.

A willingness to thrive in a high-energy setting, working in an office environment and engaging with clients over the phone, alongside a team of peers.

Demonstrated skills in building relationships and establishing rapport with colleagues, leaders, and clients.

Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively across the company

Driven, enthusiastic, resilient, agile and highly motivated.
