TITLE: Case Worker
DEPARTMENT: Indian Child Welfare
Job Duties:
- Determine whether subject children meet the definition of “Indian Child” under the Indian Child Welfare Act;
- Participate in court proceedings involving Ottawa Indian Children and, if necessary, intervene on behalf of the Tribe;
- Establish and maintain records as necessary;
- Establish and maintain relationships with other organizations and programs for the protection of Ottawa Indian Children.
Skills and Qualifications:
- This position is subject to background check.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or other social services field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information.
Indian and Tribal preference will be followed in hiring as allowed by law.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
