Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.

- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain an orderly classroom.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Provide library services to support literacy education and promote reading among students.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs, including special education requirements.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic performance and behavioral issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of elementary education principles, including literacy education and math instruction.
- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.

This is an 183 day contract payable over 12 months. Salary will be based on education and experience. Applicant must be appropriately endorsed or be eligible to obtain the appropriate endorsement for this position.
