Teacher: Music Teacher at Sunflower Elementary School

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating young students in various subjects. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Educate students in core subjects such as math, science, language arts, and social studies.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive classroom environment.
• Support students with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum, through tailored instructional strategies.
• Foster childhood development by encouraging social, emotional, and cognitive growth among students.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance library services and educational resources available to students.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods as necessary to meet individual learning needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field is required.
• Certification in Special Education or Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Experience working with children with autism or other developmental challenges is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of education administration principles and practices.
• Proven ability in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for elementary-aged children.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices is essential.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in education best practices.

Pay: $46,737.00 - $81,157.00 per year
