Position Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer. This role involves coordinating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to meet quality standards, resolve issues, and maintain essential quality documentation. You will also help improve processes and ensure compliance with industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teams to meet PPAP requirements and maintain quality records.
Support AQP processes and serve as backup to the Quality Manager for external quality issues.
Troubleshoot quality problems and work to resolve them with customers and manufacturing.
Assist in updating DFMA documentation, control plans, and root cause analysis.
Use measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and interpret part prints and specifications.
Help improve systems using manufacturing execution systems (Plex).
Qualifications:
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, and metrology tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with quality systems.
Experience in aerospace and automotive industries is a plus.
Knowledge of AS9100 standards is beneficial.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or related field.
2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or quality engineering.
Familiarity with root cause analysis methods is preferred.
