Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Motor Coach driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to various destinations while ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to maintain the motor coach in optimal condition.
Duties
- Operate motor coaches and other vehicles, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers at designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and mechanical integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the motor coach interior.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and addressing any inquiries or concerns during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
- Communicate effectively in English with passengers and team members.
Qualifications
- Previous driver, or motor coach operator is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers of all ages.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
