POSITION TITLE : Title Reading Teacher
REPORTS TO : Building Principal
Purpose Statement : To develop in each student skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing that are fundamental to good communication; to develop appreciation of good literature of all types; to motivate pupils to read for information and recreation; to develop critical thinking skills; to nurture special talents of each student.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must have Iowa teaching certification of subject area being taught.
- Successful teaching experience preferred
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
