The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic and tactical role focused on employee relations and performance management. This position serves as a key liaison between HR and business leaders, driving organizational effectiveness, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The HRBP plays a pivotal role in addressing employee relations issues, implementing performance management strategies, and promoting employee engagement.
This is a hybrid position in Greenville, SC. You must be located in the Greenville, SC area. This position is NOT remote.

While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee concerns, complaints, or violations, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Partner with business leaders to design and implement effective performance management strategies, including goal setting, coaching, and performance improvement plans.
- Educate and coach managers on best practices for delivering feedback, managing performance, and fostering employee development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all employee relations and performance management activities.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance managerial capabilities in addressing employee performance and engagement challenges.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to implement and improve policies, programs, and procedures related to employee relations and performance management.
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities for proactive interventions to address workplace challenges and improve organizational culture.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of employee relations and performance management activities, preparing reports and analyses as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Proficiency in HRIS systems required, familiarity with UKG Ready preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4-7 years of HR experience, including at least 2 in a generalist role.
- Demonstrated experience in performance management and employee relations.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
