ServiceNow Administrator
The ServiceNow Administrator I assists in managing and supporting the ServiceNow platform. This role involves performing routine administrative tasks, learning the platform's functionalities, and supporting end-users and senior administrators in ensuring the platform operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities : Platform Support :
- Assist in the daily administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user management, incident resolution, and system maintenance.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve basic platform issues and escalate complex problems to level II and III administrators.
User and Access Management :
Support the creation, modification, and deactivation of user accounts and roles.Assist with permissions and access controls to ensure proper system security.Configuration and Customization :
Aid in configuring ServiceNow applications and modules under the guidance of senior administrators.Support the development and implementation of basic customizations, such as forms and reports.Incident and Request Handling :
Manage and resolve service requests and incidents related to ServiceNow functionality.Provide first-line support to end-users and escalate issues as necessary.Documentation and Reporting :
Assist in creating and maintaining documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.Help generate basic reports and dashboards to track platform performance and usage.Training and Support :
Provide basic training and support to end-users on ServiceNow functionalities.Assist in onboarding new users and providing ongoing support as needed.Change Management :
Assist with the implementation and testing of standard changes and updates to the ServiceNow platform.Support change management processes by following established procedures.Learning and Development :
Continuously learn about ServiceNow functionalities, best practices, and industry trends.Participate in training sessions and seek out opportunities for professional development.Qualifications :
1-2 years of experience in IT or a related role, with some exposure to ServiceNow or similar platforms preferred.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is a plus, will need to obtain for admin permissions.Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Basic understanding of ServiceNow administration and configuration.Familiarity with ITIL concepts and best practices.Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, or other web technologies is advantageous.Familiarity with databases and SQL is a plus.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Founded in 1991, Rooms To Go is one of the largest and fastest growing furniture retailers in the US with over 250 stores in ten southern states, eight distribution centers and an e-commerce business.
