Social Media Community Specialist
Rooms To Go is seeking an energetic self-starter that is passionate about social media, influencer marketing, and brand sentiment to join our team!
This role will sit on the Social Media and Influencer Marketing team and interact with a broad range of digital marketing initiatives.
The Social Media Community Specialist will oversee the Rooms To Go User Generated Content program (UGC), monitor and manage online customer ratings and reviews, engage with Rooms To Go’s online communities, and assist with day-to-day influencer marketing campaigns and organic social media.

Responsibilities
- Lead the User Generated Content (UGC) program. This role will manage incoming content, conduct customer outreach, and assist with strategy to further build out the program
- Work towards enhancing and building Rooms To Go’s online reputation by managing the ratings and reviews platform, and tracking and analyzing sentiment
- Partner with the Customer Care team, and act as a voice of the brand by engaging in community management across all social media channels
- Work cross-functionally with marketing teams and other business units to provide insight into customer content – UGC and online ratings and reviews
- Use influencer marketing platform to assist in creator discovery, campaign creation and management
- Use social media management tools to assist with content publishing, community management, content tagging and more
- Assist with content creation and ideation as needed
- Assist with regularly scheduled and ad-hoc performance reporting
- Performs other duties as required and more!
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a similar field preferred, or a combination of experience and education
- Entry-level position 1-2 years of experience (internships included) in social media, ratings and reviews, influencer marketing, and/or public relations
- Experience monitoring digital marketing and social media channels
- Previous use of brand sentiment, listening, and/or social media management tools and platforms
- Experience in social content creation including photography, video, and photo editing is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners
- Self-starter with exceptional organizational and time management skills, ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
