Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. This role requires a strong focus on safety, customer service, and the ability to handle various types of furniture for delivery. The Delivery Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellent service. This is not a “Delivery Driver” Job. This is the delivery specialist that is the companion rider with the delivery driver. You will not be required to drive our box truck with this job. We are hiring a delivery driver as well.
Duties
- Load, unload & deliver various furniture pieces. Some light assembly will be required on larger pieces, but most furniture is pre-assembled.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules, changes, and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Work with the delivery driver to handle all deliveries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
