Summary

Our Father's is seeking a kind, fun, and caring individual to join our team! No nights or weekends required!



Duties

• Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.
• Sanitize toys and play equipment.
• Discipline children and recommend or initiate other measures to control behavior, such as caring for own clothing and picking up toys and books.
• Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to parents' or guardians' attention.
• Observe and monitor children's play activities.
• Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered.
• Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.
• Read to children and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.
• Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
• Dress children and change diapers.
• Help children with homework and school work.
• Perform housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, dish washing, and changing of linens.
• Maintain a safe play environment.
• Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues.
• Assist in preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children.
• Regulate children's rest periods.
• Perform general administrative tasks, such as taking attendance, editing internal paperwork, and making phone calls.
• Organize and participate in recreational activities and outings, such as games and field trips.

Requirements

• must be 18years or older
• High School diploma or GED
• CPR training
• EC1 or Assistant Teacher course
• Infant Toddler Course
• Mandated Reporter (Child Abuse & Neglect training)
• SIDS/ Shaken Baby Syndrome training

(willing to train the right candidate!)

Nice To Haves

-Knowledge of the WI licensing operations- DCF 251

• WI Registry certificate
• 1 Year in Early childhood

-EC2 - lead teacher course

• Early Childhood college credits
