The Sanitors are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all tanks, equipment, facility utensils, hoses, drums, totes, filling equipment, and work area according to the Company sanitation procedures. The incumbent also preforms basic maintenance of the cleaning equipment to ensure all tools are available for ongoing use. Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, quality, cost and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Identify and rectify Food Safety concerns
- Upkeep inside and outside of facility
- Cleaning of floors, drains, wash area, and equipment
- Empty during the shift
- Other duties as required or assigned.
- Keep up with Master Sanitation Cleaning Schedule, weekly, monthly, yearly etc.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow standard procedures and GMP's
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools and high-pressure cleaning equipment
- Willingness to work in a wet environment
- Willingness to work some weekends and overtime as needed
- Work with chemicals
- Work with minimum supervision
- Good writing and reading skills.
- Ability to read and speak basic English
