We are Better Together!
Our Hospice is looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP). You will be responsible for applying nursing knowledge at an advanced level to maintain or improve quality of life for our hospice patients. He/she will also serve as a resource, consultant, and advisor to the clinical staff and leadership to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care
- Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
- Conducting home visits remote call/orders
- On Call and Holiday Rotation
A Nurse Practitioner at Our Hospice will:
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments
- Manage acute and chronic diseases through diagnostic and pharmacologic interventions
- Adhere to organizational protocols. The role involves
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Consult on complex patient cases
- Participate in on-call services
- Conduct and lead research initiatives
- Address educational needs of patients and staff
- Assume leadership roles in clinical practice improvement.
- Professional development, compliance, and excellent customer service are also emphasized
An Nurse Practitioner at Our Hospice Needs:
- MSN from accredited program
- Valid APRN License
- Three to five years' experience in hospice and/or healthcare field preferred.
- Valid Indiana Driver's License, active car insurance and reliable transportation.
