Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recliner mechanisms in products according to specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the assembly process. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced factory environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and parts according to detailed instructions and specifications.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during the assembly process.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth assembly line workflow.
- Fabricate parts as needed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse or factory setting.
- Assist in training new employees on assembly techniques and safety practices as required.
Skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques.
- Proficient mechanical knowledge, including the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
- Competence in using both hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
