JOB TITLE: Assistant Junior Varsity boys soccer coach
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assistant boys soccer coach at the JV level who will support the
head coach in overseeing, organizing, and executing all functions of the team -
including practices and game day experiences as well as development of younger
program players as both student-athletes and young men. The ideal candidate will
have effective communication skills, strong organizational skills, and have previous
experience coaching soccer as well as a passion for the game.

SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Steve Howes - Athletic Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports head coach as needed with the general demands of the team
- Assists in creation, implementation, and execution of training sessions and game day
- Assists in communicating extensively and working together with players, parents, other
- Assists with out-of-season workout programs and pre-season preparation
- Interacts with student athletes of different ages and skill levels in a positive and

QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience with coaching at club and/or high school level, or
the equivalent. College degree preferred.

SKILLS: The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills and strong
organizational skills as well as the ability to assist with instruction in practice and game
environments that is consistent with the program standard.
REQUIRED WORK HOURS: The start of the season is mid-August and ends in early
November. Coach should be available 5x per week in the late afternoon / early evening.

The competitive salary range ($500-2,000) is commensurate with experience.
