Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will support the health and wellness of residents by providing comprehensive care management in accordance with the State of Vermont DAIL Resident Care Home Level 3 Regulations, organizational policies, and under the guidance of the Director of Nursing Services (DNS). The RN will collaborate closely with the health services team, oversee and support direct care staff, coordinate with physicians and families, and ensure accurate and timely documentation within PointClickCare (PCC).
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the DNS in the oversight of the health services team and daily operations
- Leading and participating in care coordination for a resident census averaging 43
- Supervising and supporting approximately 50 health services staff
- Managing resident assessments, care plans, and health records
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, providers, and staff
Schedule:
- Flexible schedule, primarily Monday–Friday
- Shares on-call responsibilities with the DNS
- No routine requirement for holidays, weekends, or overnights
- Adjustments made as needed based on team and resident needs
Compensation:
- Starting wage: $40–$45 per hour, commensurate with experience
