JOB SUMMARY
The Accounts Payable Specialist for Barcelona Wine Bar will assist with the daily functions of the
Accounts Payable (AP) department. With 24 restaurant locations and counting, the AP Specialist will be
responsible for the accounts payable cycle for a designated number of restaurants within the AP team.
This position will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES
? Compile and Maintain accounts payable records.
? Review all invoices for accuracy/ appropriate documentation and approval prior to entering the invoices to
the accounting system.
? Handling the print out of AP checks after obtaining payment approval.
? Liaise with vendors for payment inquiries and any other accounting related matters.
? Handle vendor statement reconciliation
? Maintain accounts payable reports, worksheets, and vendor files.
? Work closely with Restaurant management teams and Department heads for accounting related matters.
? Handle the preparation of analysis reports of accounts.
? Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
? Associate degree in accounting or related fields is preferred but not required.
? 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment.
? Restaurant/Hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation: $21.00-24.00/hr
Schedule: Full Time
