Home Care Aide

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide for immediate start in Reisterstown, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients in need. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that clients receive the assistance they need to live comfortably and safely in their own environments.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing and meal preparation.
• Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Help clients with mobility and physical exercises to maintain their health and well-being.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions to healthcare professionals and family members.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Accompany clients to appointments and activities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• 5 years previous home care experience is required.
• Must have CNA License
• A valid CPR Certification is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive client to appts/outings.
• Must have a car and valid car insurance.
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols and patient care techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Must be reliable, punctual and able to work flexible hours as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
