Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide for immediate start in Reisterstown, Maryland. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing and meal preparation.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help clients with mobility and physical exercises to maintain their health and well-being.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions to healthcare professionals and family members.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Accompany clients to appointments and activities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- 5 years previous home care experience is required.
- Must have CNA License
- A valid CPR Certification is required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive client to appts/outings.
- Must have a car and valid car insurance.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and patient care techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be reliable, punctual and able to work flexible hours as needed.
