Ice Rink Operations Manager

About:
Brunswick Auto Mart Arena ( BAM) in Strongsville Ohio which includes two NHL sheets of ice and a studio . The General Manager will be responsible for manage all aspects related to front of the house customer facing activities as well as serve as shift manager for building activities for the front and back of the house excluding cafe and private rental events.

Role and Responsibilities

Facility Management

• Oversee all aspects of front of the house facility operations, repairs, maintenance.
• Serve as supervisor overseeing ice cuts,
• Ensure compliance with all regulations (fire inspections, water quality, ice plant inspections).
• Open and secure the facility for all user groups.
• Oversee routine cleaning (bathrooms, lobby, locker rooms, bleachers, grounds).
• Manage special projects in collaboration with facility owners.
• Communicate with the Webmaster and Social Media Manager as needed

Manage the following programs

• Collaborate with the Tournament Director on logistics and locker room assignments.
• Draft tournament schedules and communicate with teams and officials.
• Men's league, adult drop in and mite house program including tournaments and special events.

Hockey Coordination

• Oversee customer ice time, practices, and locker room use.
• Ensure locker rooms are clean and properly utilized during games and tournaments.

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service to patrons and user groups.
• Foster a welcoming environment and maintain strong public relations.
