Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to help bring our custom designs to life in Northern Utah. If you have a strong carpentry background, a keen eye for precision, and a dedication to delivering high-quality work, this role is a perfect fit for you.
What You Will Do:
- Travel to client locations across Northern Utah to deliver and install custom cabinetry.
- Measure and prepare installation sites, ensuring accurate fits based on blueprints.
- Remove existing cabinetry and prepare spaces for new installations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to complete installations.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas both on-site and in the workshop.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth installation processes.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in cabinet installation or a related carpentry trade.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in woodworking is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot installation challenges.
- Proficiency with power tools, measuring instruments, and woodworking machinery.
- Basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments.
- Strong communication skills; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and strong time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
What You Will Experience:
- Hands-on work both at client sites and in our workshop.
- Physical demands include regular lifting of up to 50 lbs or more, bending, crouching, and using tools and machinery.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and environmental factors requiring safety precautions.
- Use of PPE, including closed-toe shoes, eye protection, and ear protection.
- Extended periods of standing, lifting, and maneuvering cabinetry and materials.
