Job Description
We’re looking for a motivated and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to grow our business, build lasting client relationships, and manage sales from initial contact to final project approval. While this position focuses on granite countertop sales, there is significant potential to expand into cabinetry sales and design for candidates with experience in those areas. What You Will Do:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and industry professionals to secure new countertop and cabinetry projects.
- Provide accurate estimates and manage sales proposals through each stage, from initial contact to final approval.
- Assist clients with product selections, revisions, and project details, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Conduct site visits to ensure high standards are maintained and address any concerns.
- Stay current with industry trends and introduce clients to new products to drive growth.
- Keep detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Take on additional duties as needed to support the team.
What You Will Bring:
- High school diploma required; a degree in a related field is a plus.
- 1–2 years of outside sales experience preferred, especially in cabinetry, granite, or construction.
- 3–5 years of relevant industry experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Cabinet Vision software is a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings and provide accurate estimates.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for site visits.
What You Will Experience:
This position involves a combination of office-based work and field visits to client sites. Candidates must be comfortable traveling locally and performing physical tasks during site visits.
- Job site visits may require walking, measuring, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
- Exposure to varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, dust, and noise.
- Regular local travel with occasional longer-distance travel required.
