Job Description
The Outside Sales Representative will help grow our business and deliver exceptional service across Northern Utah. This role focuses primarily on granite countertop sales, with the potential to expand into cabinetry sales and design. If you're great at building relationships, managing projects, and closing deals, this opportunity is for you.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, and industry professionals to drive new business.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to project approval, including estimates and proposals.
- Assist clients with product selections and revisions, ensuring a smooth, personalized experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timelines, quality, and project expectations are met.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess project needs, measure spaces, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and introduce clients to new materials and product innovations.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details.
- Support the broader team with tasks that promote smooth project flow and customer success.
What You Will Bring:
- High school diploma required; degree in business, construction management, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in outside sales, ideally in granite, cabinetry, or the construction industry.
- 3–5 years of relevant industry experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Cabinet Vision software is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and provide accurate project estimates.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and comfort with regular local travel for site visits and client meetings.
What You Will Experience:
- A blend of office-based tasks and on-site client visits.
- Physical aspects include walking job sites, taking measurements, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
- Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions such as dust, noise, heat, and cold.
- Regular local travel with some potential for longer-distance travel.
