Job Description
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to expand our business, foster strong client relationships, and oversee sales from initial contact to project approval. This role primarily focuses on granite countertop sales, with opportunities to grow into cabinetry sales and design. If you excel at relationship-building and delivering exceptional service, this is the perfect opportunity.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and industry professionals to drive new business.
- Provide accurate estimates and manage sales proposals from initial contact through final approval.
- Assist clients with product selections, revisions, and project details for a seamless experience.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits to uphold project standards and address client concerns.
- Stay informed on industry trends and introduce clients to new product offerings.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Support the team with additional tasks as needed.
What You Will Bring:
- High school diploma required; a degree in a related field is a plus.
- 1–2 years of outside sales experience preferred, especially in cabinetry, granite, or construction.
- 3–5 years of industry experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Cabinet Vision software is a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings and provide precise estimates.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
What You Will Experience:
This position involves a combination of office-based work and field visits to client sites. Candidates must be comfortable traveling locally and performing physical tasks during site visits.
- Job site visits may require walking, measuring, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
- Exposure to varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and noise.
- Regular local travel with occasional longer-distance travel.
