Reporting to the CJTS Deputy Director, the Treatment Court Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing program activities, ensuring compliance with program guidelines, and managing participant progress of the assigned treatment court(s). This position is key to ensuring smooth operations, effective communication among stakeholders, and adherence to best practices and evidence based services.
Monday - Friday typically between 7:30am - 5pm

- Oversee treatment court activities, including screenings, referrals, eligibility determination, and coordinating services as to be aligned with best practices.
- Prepare staffing reports for treatment court teams, lead treatment court team staff meetings, and maintain accurate documentation of staffing and treatment court proceedings, and case activities.
- Develop and monitor individualized service plans, ensuring compliance with guidelines and referring participants to additional services as needed.
- Maintain communication with partner agencies and community resources, addressing service delivery barriers and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Identify and promote ongoing training for team members, including new team member onboarding, in line with national treatment court standards.
- Collect and analyze data on participant outcomes and service delivery, sharing findings with stakeholders.
- Assist with identifying and applying for grants to secure necessary funding for program expansion and sustainability. Assist with grant reporting, as directed.
- Represent the treatment court to the public and stakeholders, participating in meetings and advocacy efforts, as directed.
- Provide support for participants in crisis, helping them access emergency services and resources. Stay informed about available community resources to address participant needs.
- Assist in revising policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and evolving national standard.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, Criminal Justice, or related field.
- At least two years of related experience (five years is preferred), including work with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, preferably in criminal court or corrections, and a strong understanding of ASAM criteria.
- OR any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Case management experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Knowledge of community resources and treatment services.
- Familiarity with substance use assessment tools.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, staff, and community partners.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in office equipment and software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with a treatment court or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working with individuals in the criminal legal system who are struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
- Experience in public speaking and delivering presentations.
- Familiarity with using data to monitor program outcomes and performance measures.
- Experience using evidence-based decision-making.
