Purchasing assistant is responsible for purchasing, inventory and record keeping for multiple long term care facilities. Additionally, monitoring stock levels, updating records, researching potential vendors and track orders.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop & implement purchasing strategies that align with business objectives
- Able to quickly & effeciently perform alternative duties when required
- Review all purchase orders & invoices for their correctness
- Makes the most cost-effective purchases possible as per contractual agreement
- Corrects all errors in shipments & pricing
- Ensure timely delivery to main fully stocked inventories
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have great communication skills, organized and experienced with Microsoft Office / Excel. Previous purchasing experience prefferred.
