Tech-Keys is looking for a entry to mid-level Purchasing Associate to join our team and be responsible for assisting the Purchasing and Logistics aspect of our team.
Expected Outcomes :
Processing orders for both internal and client hardware and software
Product sourcing for client requested hardware
Continuous communication with clients to ensure appropriate products are proposed
Preparing proposals for client review
Communicate with vendors and negotiate the best possible pricing
Maintain organized management over inventory of internal hardware and supplies
Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipment
Responsible for periodic deliveries to facilities or client locations
Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered
Obtains purchased items and forwards to necessary department(s), while monitoring and expediting orders as needed
Draft a variety of communications, including client interaction
Take a personal interest in and be responsible for the quality of work performed or associated with
Follow all company policies and best practices such as accurate time tracking
Desire to work on the customer-facing side of a tech company
Any IT experience is a plus
Strong interest in IT is a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is a plus
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
Strong interpersonal skills including phone manner, written communication, and client-care
Ability to multi-task and take initiative
Hardworking and dedicated outlook
Good collaboration and teamwork abilities
Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed
Ability to take direction, absorb information quickly, and work independently when needed
