Requirements
- Desire to work on the customer-facing side of a tech company
- Any IT experience is a plus
- Strong interest in IT is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is a plus
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
- Strong interpersonal skills including phone manner, written communication, and client-care
- Ability to multi-task and take initiative
- Hardworking and dedicated outlook
- Good collaboration and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed
- Ability to take direction, absorb information quickly, and work independently when needed
- Ability to occasionally lift items up to 65lbs
Expected Outcomes
- Processing orders for both internal and client hardware and software
- Product sourcing for client requested hardware
- Continuous communication with clients to ensure appropriate products are proposed
- Preparing proposals for client review
- Communicate with vendors and negotiate the best possible pricing
- Maintain organized management over inventory of internal hardware and supplies
- Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipment
- Responsible for periodic deliveries to facilities or client locations
- Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered
- Obtains purchased items and forwards to necessary department(s), while monitoring and expediting orders as needed
- Draft a variety of communications, including client interaction
- Take a personal interest in and be responsible for the quality of work performed or associated with
- Follow all company policies and best practices such as accurate time tracking
