Main Purpose and Major Challenges of the Role
This position will manage site merchandising for all three brands: Outerknown, Firewire Surfboards, and Slater Designs. They will manage product placement on the ecommerce channel to create a cohesive experience from traffic channel to checkout.
This role is responsible for curating and personalizing the on-site experience in alignment with the GTM calendar. This is a highly collaborative role that will work closely with Ecom/Digital, Creative, Planning, and Merchandising. They will also be responsible for day-to-day site operations in Shopify Plus. This is a hybrid role with a three day in office requirement.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Site Merchandising
Manage product catalog and seasonal launches
Ensure site experience alignment with traffic channels including paid media, email, SMS, and organic social
Optimize conversion rate through merchandising rules catered to collections across site
Own and facilitate A/B testing calendar for product sorting rules and creative asset optimization
Personalize user journey for top segments to improve add to cart rate, conversion rate, and LTV
Optimize on-site search and product recommendations
Own creative brief creation for bi-weekly homepage updates, landing pages, navigation, and new site experiences
Own site merchandising roadmap and identify new initiatives each fiscal year
Be on the pulse of ecommerce shopping trends and innovation to support elevating and creating a more intuitive customer experience
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Operations
Build landing pages to accurately convey brand campaigns and storytelling in collaboration with the creative team
Update navigation seasonally based on product assortment priorities and new categories
Collaborate with UX and Director of Ecom to identify new site functionality to optimize conversion rate
Participate in UAT for site releases of new functionality, enhancements, and bugs
Collaborate with Director of Ecom to facilitate semi-annual sales and BFCM
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Analytics
Produce weekly site merchandising KPI report and present with the other channel owners
Continuously read product and landing page performance to identify opportunities as part of the site merchandising and A/B testing roadmaps
Lead monthly creative performance review for all channel owners including paid, social, and email

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of experience in Site Merchandising, Ecommerce or Digital role
