We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR/Dispatcher to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a HR/Dispatcher at Outlaw Logistics, you will play a critical role in coordinating the daily operations of our drivers and share some HR responsibilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our drivers deliver packages in a timely and efficient manner while providing HR services. You will communicate with drivers, monitor delivery routes, and adjust scheduling as needed to meet changing demands while working closely with the HR manager to hire, executing varies HR task. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to working in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the other dispatchers andHR manager.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage daily delivery routes for drivers, ensuring all packages are delivered on time and in the most efficient manner.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with drivers, providing them with route updates and delivery instructions as needed.
- Monitor driver performance, providing feedback and coaching as necessary to ensure consistent adherence to company policies and procedures. (You will be calling drivers when they receive camera alerts)
- Work closely with HR manager on varies task.
- Work closely with new hires assisting in onboarding new employees.
- Hire, terminate and manage the timecards of employees.
- Ability to learn new software not limited to ADP.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to delivery issues, working to resolve problems and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other team members and station operations to ensure seamless coordination of logistics operations.
- Drive a delivery truck and deliver packages when needed.
- Manage opening and /or closing set up daily. Ensuring equipment is accounted for and drivers have what they need to be successful.
Shift flexibility:
- Ability to work a flexible shift (including early mornings, late evenings and weekends)
- Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in dispatch, logistics, and HR.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (especially excel), cortex, etc.
- Familiarity with local geography and traffic patterns in the Philadelphia area.
- Proficient using a computer including emails, office products and communicating with the owner.
