Job Summary
Ouatch Building Healthy Lives is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team. This key role will be responsible for guiding the overall provision of HR services, policies, and programs for the entire organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing HR functions, including employee relations, training, recruitment, retention, benefits, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication abilities. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and implementing short-term and long-range HR department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Developing, reviewing, implementing, and providing information on the Agency's HR policies and procedures through a manual and other means.
  • Designing and coordinating grievance procedures as well as mediating workplace disputes.
  • Resolving employee relation issues such as employee complaints and harassment and maintaining the organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish Agency goals and objectives.
  • Creating company strategic recruitment and selection plan and being directly involved in the recruiting, hiring, and termination of staff.
  • Work Environment
    This job operates in a professional office environment as well as outside in the field. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Must be able to travel among assigned sites and locations as needed.

    Requirements
    To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A graduate degree (possibly a Master's in Human Resources).
  • Minimum of five years progressive experience, including management within the Human Resources department.
  • Experience working in healthcare or human service organizations is a plus.
  • Able to analyze and assess training and developmental needs, negotiate and manage collective bargaining agreements, and lead HR-related investigations and prepare reports.
