Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Outpatient Counselor to provide counseling and therapeutic services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evidence-based counseling techniques, experience working with diverse populations, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others. As an Outpatient Counselor, you will be responsible for conducting individual and group counseling sessions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a team of professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients of all ages
- Assess clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate client care
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Stay updated on the latest developments in counseling theories and techniques through continuous education and training
- Participate in regular supervision and team meetings
- Uphold the ethical standards and guidelines of the counseling profession
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- State licensure as a professional counselor (LPC), clinical social worker (LCSW), or marriage and family therapist (LMFT) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing counseling services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and age groups
- Knowledge of evidence-based counseling techniques and interventions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
