Duties
- Provide high-quality barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims.
- Perform hair threading and nail care as needed.
- Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
- Utilize color theory knowledge to provide coloring services when requested.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
- Build relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
- Upsell additional services and retail products based on client needs.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques.
- Use MINDBODY software for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Skills
- Proficient in barbering techniques with a strong understanding of hair styling.
- Knowledgeable in hair threading and nail care practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Strong upselling abilities to promote additional services and retail items.
- Familiarity with color theory to assist clients in achieving desired looks.
- Basic understanding of retail math for managing product sales.
